This is a first class company for servicing/repairing your boiler. They answer the phone very promptly, the engineer is extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough. The engineer was very friendly and even put shoe covers on when entering my home.
I left the previous company for servicing my boiler due to their appauling service and customer service. This was Domestic & General. I just wish there were more companies like WRB Gas (Contracts) out there.

From the initial consultation through to the installation, all staff involved were efficient and helpful.
Dates and times were adhered to, and the staff who installed the system were very clean and tidy workers.

Brilliant customer service and installation. The guys who installed the panels were professional, tidy and talked me through the entire process. Frankie was front and centre, talked me through the downloading of the app, the functionality of the app and made a second journey early on a Saturday morning to finalise the set up and waited until he was satisfied that the system and app were performing as required. First class service.

I would also like to give some feedback on the two crews that installed our panels.
They were absolutely excellent. Very nice lads, did a wonderful job, were very
pleasant and conscientious of doing a clean and professional job.

The process for claiming the SEAI grant was perfect, the money just appeared in my
bank account as WRB did all the form filling. I would have no problem in recommending WRB for solar panels and associated works.

These panels are European made and come with a 30-year Performance Warranty. They are the latest half cell technology. Implementing half-cut cells in solar panels can help improve the power output of a solar panel system. Half-cut solar cells are exactly what their name suggests – they are traditional silicon solar cells that have been cut in half using a laser cutter.

Durability

Since the cells are physically smaller, they are more averse to cracking.

Lower resistive losses

A half-cut cell carries half the current and a quarter of the resistance of a full cell. So a complete half-cell module has the same current but half the resistance of a regular module. Resistance = wasted power, meaning a half cell solar panel can boost output by around 3%.

Shade resistance

A regular panel is made up of 3 rows of cells connected in series with bypass diodes. If one cell is shaded, a third of the panel’s output can be lost. But in a half-cut panel, there are 6 rows of cells. So, if one of the cells is shaded, only a sixth of the output is lost.

Less chance of hotspots

With a lower current in each cell, there’s less heat concentration.

Reduced installation area

 Roof space can be saved using half cell technology.
